Suicide bomber in last week’s İstanbul attack identified

The identity of one of the terrorists who carried out twin bomb attacks in İstanbul on Saturday has been identified as 20-year-old Burak Yavuz, who went by the name of Erdal.

The Kurdistan Freedom Hawks (TAK), an offshoot of the terrorist Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK), on Sunday claimed responsibility for the two bomb attacks that killed 44 people, mostly policemen, and injured more than 160 outside Beşiktaş’s Vodafone Arena.
