President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said on Saturday that the government will imprison people connected to the Gülen movement unless they inform on activities of the movement.

In yet another threat against the Gülen movement, which the government accuses of masterminding a July 15 coup attempt, Erdoğan said: ”O members of FETÖ and people who are connected to them, if you do not come forward and tell us what you know, I’m sorry to have to say it, but wherever we find you, we will get you and put you in prison like the rest of them.”

FETÖ is a derogatory term coined by the government to label the movement as terrorist.

The government has already detained around 72,000 people and arrested 34,000 over their alleged links to the movement since July 15 (Turkey Purge).
