Turkey’s Interior Ministry has declared a foundation that has worked with the ministry on dozens of projects on refugees to be linked to terrorism, the T24 news website reported on Thursday.

The Association for Solidarity with Asylum Seekers and Migrants (SGDD), which has been working on refugees in Turkey for more than two decades, has 1,700 employees.

Many administrators of the association, which also signed a protocol of cooperation with the ministry in 2017, have been reported by the ministry as being linked to terrorist organizations such as the outlawed Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK), the Kurdistan Communities’ Union (KCK), left- extremist Marxist-Leninist Communist Party (MLKP), far-left Revolutionary People’s Liberation Party/Front (DHKP/C) in addition to the Gülen movement, which is designated as a terrorist organization by the Turkish government. F

ollowing a failed military coup attempt in July 2016, the Turkish government closed down dozens of civil society organizations, claiming they were linked to terrorism.

  1. Note that Islamic State or Al Sham is not mentioned and not experienced as terrorists. You remember what happened with the people who exposed the Erdogan, MIT, Turkey link with Islamic State in Turkey called Deash. Hypocrisy! Unrealistic and unrealibilty!
