Çıray held a press conference at party headquarters in Ankara after an executive board meeting.

According to the official poll results announced on Wednesday by the Supreme Election Board (YSK), the İYİ Party garnered 9.96 percent of the vote on June 24 and secured 43 parliamentary seats for the next legislative term.

In addition to Çıray, SP leader Temel Karamollaoğlu also stated the alliance had completed its mission, saying that “the alliance was a matter of elections” during a press conference in Ankara.

The official results showed that the Nation Alliance of the opposition parties had taken around 33.95 percent of the vote.

However, recent statements from officials indicated that each party would pursue its own agenda in Parliament.
