Speaking at NATO’s Military Committee in Chiefs of Defence Session in Brussels on Tuesday, Akar urged the alliance to provide more support to Turkey to fight against terrorism amid an increase of global terrorist activities.

During the 176th Military Committee of Chiefs of Defense Session, a meeting of NATO’s highest military authorities, Akar met with chiefs of staff from the US, Austria, Ukraine, Romania, Australia, Israel and Italy, and had bilateral discussions.
