Turkish foreign minister says 37,500 evacuated from Syria’s Aleppo

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu has announced that a total 37,500 people have been evacuated from the Syrian city of Aleppo thus far and that the goal is to complete all evacuations by Wednesday.

Çavuşoğlu made the announcement from his Twitter account on Tuesday.

He is currently in Moscow where he is having talks with his Russian and Iranian counterparts to discuss the future of Syria.
