Two people died and 14 more were injured when a school bus collided with a car on Aydın-İzmir highway in Aydın’s İncirliova district early on Friday.
The accident took place around 8 a.m., when a school bus driven by Ahmet Barut and carrying students of a school in Germencik district of Aydın collided with a car driven by Feyzullah Yolçi.
Steward Gani Orcan died at the scene of the incident after the school bus rolled over. Car driver Yolçi also lost his life while receiving treatment at the Aydın State Hospital.
The injured were sent to Aydın State Hospital, Atatürk State Hospital and Adnan Menderes University Hospital for treatment.
