FNSS, a Turkish defense contractor, will present its new PARS ALPHA 6×6 Fire Support and Reconnaissance Vehicle at the FEINDEF 2025 defense exhibition in Madrid, scheduled for May 12 to 14, Defence Blog reported on Tuesday.

The PARS ALPHA 6×6 is the latest product in Turkey’s next-generation armored vehicle program and is part of efforts to modernize land forces and increase defense exports.

Designed for fire support and reconnaissance missions, the vehicle will be shown equipped with the John Cockerill Defense 3030 manned turret, which includes a 30mm MK44S Bushmaster cannon.

A more compact version of the previously developed 8×8 PARS ALPHA, the 6×6 variant was selected as the sole-source platform in its category for the Turkish Armed Forces after field trials conducted by the Ministry of Defense.

FNSS signed a production contract with the Turkish Defense Industry Agency (SSB) for an initial batch of 25 vehicles. The total planned procurement exceeds 2,000 units as part of a broader military upgrade initiative.

No confirmed export deals or deliveries of the PARS ALPHA series have been announced. However, FNSS and defense analysts note potential international interest, citing earlier PARS family variants in service with Malaysia, Oman and Libya.

The 6×6 platform accommodates six crew members and is designed for a range of combat operations. It includes mobility features such as hydro-pneumatic suspension, front and rear axle steering and the ability to handle steep terrain. The vehicle can reach speeds over 115 kilometers per hour and has an operational range of more than 800 kilometers.

The layout places the crew behind the engine compartment, increasing protection from frontal threats. Standard features include mine-resistant seating, modular armor and the option to integrate active protection systems.

The vehicle offers 180-degree optical situational awareness to improve visibility and target detection in varied conditions.

Its turret system is modular and can support weapons ranging from 20mm to 90mm calibers, allowing for different mission configurations.

The 3030 turret, to be displayed at the Madrid event, is designed to provide a combination of mobility and firepower with relatively low weight, making it suitable for units that prioritize fast deployment.

The PARS ALPHA 6×6 can be transported by military aircraft such as the Airbus A400M and Boeing C-17, supporting rapid deployment for military operations abroad.
