The famous ring of steel on Wembley Stadium in London was colored red on Sunday night in memory of the victims of a terror attack that claimed the lives of 44 people near İstanbul’s Beşiktaş Vodafone Arena on Saturday.
Being England’s largest, Wembley Stadium has a capacity of 90,000, and it adds to London’s silhouette with a 134-meter ring of steel.
Forty-four people, including civilians and police officers, died in twin blasts in İstanbul after explosions took place near Vodafone Arena in Beşiktaş following a match between the Beşiktaş and Bursaspor football teams on Saturday.
