Two Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) terrorists out of nine, who were detained as part of an anti-terror operation in southeastern Diyarbakır province, were arrested late on Sunday.

Nine PKK members, including a Kurdish Language Research and Development Association (KURDİ-DER) manager identified by the initials O.K., were detained on May 25, as part of an operation carried out by police officers from Counterterrorism Unit of the Diyarbakır Police Department.

While 2 PKK terrorists were arrested on charges of “membership in a terrorist organization,” the remaining 7 detainees were released and placed under judicial supervision.
