Turkey and Russia conducted the first coordinated patrols in northern Syria on Tuesday, the Turkish Defense Ministry said, the Hürriyet Daily News reported.

“Within the framework of the previous agreement, the Turkish military and the Russian military carried out the first coordinated patrols in order to achieve a ceasefire, provide stability in the Tal Rifat area and prevent attacks on our forces,” the Defense Ministry said in a tweet.
