Freelance journalist Sertaç Kayar was detained during a police raid on his home in Diyarbakır province on Tuesday, Gazete Duvar reported.
According to the report police took Kayar to police headquarters for interrogation. Kayar’s family members said the police would release him after questioning but were not informed of the subject of the interrogation.
Kayar was subsequently released by the police.
