A high school director in Bolu province has been sentenced to 96 years, 10 months in prison after conviction for abusing 10 female students, the diken news website reported on Thursday.
Metin S., aged 58, who was appointed as the director of a multi-program high school in Bolu in June 2016, was accused of abusing 10 female students in his office.
The abuse perpetrated by the director was observed by means of a camera installed in the room by the former director.
Metin S., who has been in pretrial detention for seven months on charges of “sexual abuse of a child,” denied the accusations during his trial on Thursday and claimed he had approached the students with a fatherly compassion.
