Four police officers were killed and two were injured, one of them seriously, when an explosion took place in the Sur district of the southeastern province of Diyarbakır on Monday afternoon, state-run Anadolu news agency reported.
The explosion occurred just as a police vehicle was passing a construction site on the Dicle University campus.
