With an increase in gasoline prices in Turkey that will be in effect as of midnight, the price of gasoline will exceed TL 5 for the first time in two-and-a-half years.
After the price hike, one liter of gas will cost TL 5.10, equal to $1.44.
The liter price of gasoline had reached the TL 5 threshold in July 2014.
