Turkey’s Beşiktaş came from three goals down to snatch a draw in a Champions League Group B game with Benfica, with help from Ricardo Quaresma.

The Turkish side scored twice in the final 10 minutes to keep hopes alive of reaching the knockout stages heading into the final round of fixtures, after the six-goal thriller at Vodafone Arena in İstanbul.

Portuguese champion Benfica raced into a 3-0 lead inside 31 minutes, with Goncalo Guedes brilliantly maintaining his balance to round goalkeeper Fabricio for the opener.

The efforts of Nelson Semedo doubled the visitors’ lead before a goal by Ljubomir Fejsa looked to have put the game to an end.

But the Turkish champions then produced an amazing return as Cenk Tosun and Quaresma, from the penalty spot, scored before Vincent Aboubakar leveled two minutes from time.

The draw leaves Benfica with eight points from five games in Group B and Beşiktaş on seven alongside Napoli, who was at home with Dynamo Kiev later on Wednesday.
