4 soldiers die, 11 wounded in PKK attacks

In Turkey’s ongoing battle against the terrorist Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) four soldiers were killed and 12 were wounded in separate attacks on Friday in the country’s Southeast.

The three soldiers died in a remotely controlled explosion on the Mardin- Diyarbakır highway during the passage of military vehicles.

In another attack targeting soldiers with a remotely controlled explosive, the PKK wounded eight soldiers, two of whom are in critical condition.

A third attack on the same day in the Şemdinli district of Hakkari province saw four soldiers injured in a military vehicle. One of the wounded soldiers was taken to a hospital but subsequently died from his injuries.
