26 UN aid trucks depart from Turkey for Idlib in northern Syria

Twenty of 40 United Nations aid trucks that have been kept at the Turkish border since Sept. 13 due to heavy fighting have departed for the town of Idlib in Syria, the state-run Anadolu news agency reported on Monday.

Another six-truck aid convoy that had crossed through the Cilvegözü border gate in Hatay province joined the UN convoy on their way to Idlib.

Twenty other trucks that are bound for Aleppo continue to wait near the border gate, Anadolu reported.
